Spice and Wolf

This anime is very interesting since it talks about business and a little supernatural. Its interesting that the story is about a wolf taking form of a human instead of a human taking form of a wolf. In this anime, it teaches you to be a little smart and don't be greedy while you are bargaining or dealing with people. Although this anime is rated for kids, I certainly won't allow kids below 13 watch this anime since there are some ecchi scenes in the beginning.

This anime is based on Drama, Fantasy, Romance, Supernatural and Adventure.

The Story of this Anime Craft Lawrence (people call him Lawrence), 25 year old traveling merchant that goes from town to town dealing with people. This story takes place somewhere in Europe in the Middle Ages. One night when he was at the town of Pasroe, I accidentally found a 250 year old pagan wolf deity girl named Holo. She looks like a 17 years old girl with wolf tail and ears. She introduces herself as the town's goddess of harvest who has kept it blessed with good harvests of wheat for many years. Despite having the responsibility to watch over the town, she wants to go back to her homeland in the north. Later that night, Holo makes a deal with Lawrence to bring her back to her homeland. Along the way while Lawrence was bargaining with a tradesman, Holo interrupts and suddenly increased his profits stunningly, but at the same time, the church wanted to exterminate her.

According to my rating, I would rate this anime a 9/10 for its wonderful adventure, touching drama story and the way it teaches you to be smart.

Fruits Basket

This is a famous manga turned into an anime. Fruits Basket for people who have sensitive feelings since I heard many people that watched this anime CRIED. When I heard this anime was great, I wanted to buy it "original" but somehow my brother already bought it. After watching this anime, I would rate it 8/10 since it has great song selections, a mix of comedy, nice animations and a great storyline.

This anime is based on drama, comedy, shoujo, romance, a slice of life and supernatural.

The Cast

Now I will just give a brief synopsis on this anime
Fruits Basket is about a life of the student named Tohru Honda, who is an orphaned child ever since her mother died in a car accident. After that, Tohru lived with her grandfather, but when remodeling is needed on the house, Tohru resorts to living in a tent and holds down a job to support herself. Despite suffering many hardships, Tohru remains optimistic.

One day, Tohru comes upon a house in the forest that she is temporarily living in which is the home of Shigure Sohma and fellow classmate Yuki Sohma, of the Sohma family. When the Sohmas discover that Tohru is living in a tent, they are quite surprised by her will power to live on. The entire area is Sohma property but Tohru pleads to live upon the property in her quaint tent. Feeling sorry for her and desperate to end their days of filthy living conditions, the Sohmas offer her their spare room in exchange for cooking and housework. When her tent is buried that night in a landslide, burying her mother's picture and school clothes, she has no option but to accept.

Soon after she discovers the Sohma's family secret, that they are able transform into animals when hugged by the opposite gender, when they are under a great amount of stress, or weak in any way.When she promises to keep their secret, the Sohmas allow Tohru to keep her memories rather than hypnotically erasing them, a fate that had previously befallen anyone not on the "Inside" of the Sohma family who had discovered the secret.

Lastly, this anime is best watched with your family or your girlfriend/boyfriend because when I watched it alone I felt bored and the feeling of crying didn't came to me but still I felt a little sad while watching the anime.

If you would want to watch this anime online(streaming), too bad its already licensed, the other way to watch it is to buy it "original" or watch the manga online(without songs).
